Pre-K 2
A warm, welcoming first step into school.
At Wonder Years Learning Center, we recognize that the 2½ year-old classroom often marks a child's initial exposure to school. Our objective is to assist children with a smooth transition, fostering a feeling of security within a welcoming and comforting environment. We prioritize social interaction, age-appropriate activities, and engaging themes aimed at letter and shape recognition. Children enhance their fine motor skills through crayons, paints, puzzles, blocks, and a variety of activities. Our main focus is to make sure that every day at preschool is a positive one, managing flexibility in our schedule alongside maintaining general class routines.

Pre-K 3
Building literacy, numeracy, and confidence.
Our three-year-old curriculum is centered around a specialized thematic approach incorporating letters, shapes, colors, and numbers. Our aim is for our three-year-olds to confidently recite the alphabet, recognize both upper and lowercase letters, and understand their corresponding sounds. We encourage them to identify colors and their names, as well as practice printing. We provide support in developing their writing and fine motor skills. Our curriculum also includes counting and writing numbers, understanding their values, recognizing basic geometric shapes, and arranging objects by size. We tailor our approach to accommodate the diverse developmental levels and needs of each child. A combination of group and individual activities is employed to create an engaging and dynamic classroom environment.

Pre-K 4 Scholars
Kindergarten-ready, curious, and confident.
The Pre-K 4 program at Wonder Years Learning Center offers a child-centered, literacy-focused curriculum, aiming to prepare children for success in kindergarten and beyond. We strike a well-measured balance between play, discovery, and active participation to optimize learning opportunities throughout the day. Our program introduces basic sight words and supports pre-K students in reading simple books. We foster oral language development and fluency through storytelling and reading activities. Additionally, our mathematics curriculum explores the exciting world of addition, subtraction, geometry, and measurement. From mastering fundamental concepts to nurturing a curious mindset, our Pre-K 4 program will prepare your child to embrace and enjoy the challenges of their educational journey.
